A question. A question that has intrigued me for the past 24 hours. A question asked by a counterpart. A question- When is the end of the world?
I remember back in 2003 or 2004, I read a newspaper article based on the prediction of the end of the world, year 2056 or 2057, by Sir Issac Newton. My paps also talked about such a fearsome topic. Saying that the end of the world is coming. When there are disasters and hardship.
Read the news and a series of unfortunate events have occured. From earthquakes to mass killings. Global Warming is on a rapid rise, and no one seems to really care. I my self am guilty of not protecting the Earth. But it has come to my sad but true realisation that the icebergs are really going to melt thus causing a rise in the sea level thus submerging low-lying countries. What is happening?
While Father Kenny Tan was speaking to my cathecism cohort, I was talking and giggling for the first part. I soon settled into a biblical mood and quietned down to read the Bible.
Honestly, I am fearful of the world coming to non-existence. So is time running out?
