I have come to a point in my life when I realise, what am I gonna be when I grow up?

My mom has been talking about colleges in the States and how Cal State colleges work and which way do I prefer.

I have two alternatives:
1) To attend senior year at a high school before entering college.
2) To attend Cal State courses first before entering college

I seriously am contemplating on which path to choose. UCLA right now, is the college I aim to get into. Its prestigous!

It's really going to be hard for me to leave for the US after my O's. I don't want to be sucked into the material world of American teenagers (Cars, shopping, shopping and MORE shopping). I don't want to be a ditsy brunette (although I may pass off as one) and lose my brains(I am. To A Maths). But hey, if it's what my mom wants, then US it shall be for me.

I will exchange my 'walaos' and 'wah diaos' for 'like oh my gosh' and 'like actually'. Chinese food will be but from Panda Express. An AMERICAN-Chinese food chain. Ya right? It ain't that Chinese you know. And the only proud deed I can think of at the moment, is that I may be one of the few people in my school(US) who is 'fluent' in Chinese?! AHHHH! anything is possible.

The thought of one day packing up, and leaving for college all the way around the world is currently depressing.
